Standing Seam Roofing Systems

Each panel undergoes hot-dip galvanization with either zinc or zinc-aluminium coating, ensuring exceptional corrosion resistance and weather protection. Our galvanized panels conform to G90 standards (275 GSM) as per ASTM A653. In contrast, zinc-aluminium panels meet AZ150 coating standards as per ASTM A792, making them ideal for long-term exposure to harsh environmental conditions.

SSR 600 Sleek, Seamless, Superior

The Standing Seam Roof System SSR 600 offers a balance of architectural appeal and robust performance. Suitable for slopes as low as 1:50, this concealed fastening system supports long panel lengths formed on-site - minimising joint failures and enhancing weatherproofing.

Made from premium Galvalume steel, SSR 600 panels are designed for thermal movement, wind uplift resistance, and low maintenance. The ribbed profile, hot-melt mastic, and hidden fasteners make this an ideal choice for clean, durable, and aesthetically pleasing roofing.

How Concealed-Fastener Roofing Works

Standing seam panels join along raised ribs, keeping the main panel surface free of exposed fasteners. The seam and concealed fixing arrangement help manage weather exposure while allowing for a clean roofline. Panel length, roof slope and thermal movement all need attention when the system is detailed for a particular building.

The profile drawings above show the sheet and seaming detail. Alongside the panel itself, a complete roof design considers insulation, flashing, drainage and the connection to the supporting purlins. Share the building span, roof pitch and required envelope performance when discussing a standing seam solution with AVLON.
