Mezzanine System
Our mezzanine solutions feature high-strength deck sheets supported by joists and primary beams. Optional intermediate columns can be added for increased loads. The ribbed, embossed steel deck enhances grip and eliminates the need for traditional formwork.

Planning Additional Floor Space
A mezzanine adds an elevated working or storage level within the available building volume. Its layout should account for the intended floor load, access routes, clear height above and below, and the position of columns or other supporting members. Those choices influence whether a framed level fits the way the building is used.
The framing plan and cross-section drawings above show the relationship between beams, deck sheets and the primary structure. Staircase layout is part of the same planning process: a straight or double-flight arrangement needs enough circulation space and a safe connection to the elevated floor.
For an existing or proposed steel building, provide the floor area you need, the activity planned on the level and any equipment that will be placed there. These details help determine a suitable structural arrangement and how the mezzanine connects with the surrounding building.
