Crane-Integrated Building Systems
Avlon's crane-ready designs include columns, rafters, brackets, and runway beams to support various industrial crane operations. We work closely with clients to ensure crane integration aligns with load data, operational needs, and structural safety.

Planning a Crane-Ready Building
A crane affects more than the equipment placed inside a building. Its operating path, lifting capacity and support arrangement must be considered when the steel structure is planned. Columns, brackets and runway beams need to work with the chosen crane system, while the building layout must leave the required movement and working space.
The examples above show EOT, under-slung and jib crane arrangements. Each serves a different material-handling pattern: an overhead travelling crane can serve a longer work area, while a jib crane focuses on a smaller workstation. The suitable configuration depends on the loads to be lifted, travel distance, available headroom and the way materials move through the facility.
For a useful structural discussion, provide the crane type, rated load, span, lifting height and intended operating area with your building enquiry. AVLON can then review how crane support fits with the primary frame and other building components before a project layout is finalised.
