Standard PEB Frame Types

Avlon offers various frame configurations, all engineered for structural integrity and long-term performance. With tapered columns, rafters, and welded connections for high-load conditions, our frames are designed using advanced manufacturing techniques.

Choosing a Steel Frame Layout

The frame layout sets the usable interior space and influences the roof shape, column positions and overall building arrangement. A clear-span frame leaves the floor area free of interior columns, while a multi-span arrangement uses intermediate support where the project layout allows it. A mono-slope roof and multi-gable arrangement serve different drainage and expansion needs.

AVLON also shows tapered column, rafter and lean-to configurations. The right choice depends on the required span, building height, site geometry and how the space will be used. The drawings above illustrate common forms; they are a starting point for a project-specific structural design rather than a fixed set of building sizes.

When planning a pre-engineered building, share the intended floor plan, access points and any equipment loads early. Those details help the engineering team assess the frame arrangement alongside secondary members, cladding and the construction sequence.
